Awards and symbols

         The terms and conditions for the awarding of the various prizes of the CCU are set out in the Internal Regulations on the Awarding of Prizes by the Central Cooperative Union, approved by the MB of CCU by virtue of protocol No  5/4 dated 15 December 2004.     

         The granting of awards is aimed at providing incentives for the involvement in and contribution of the cooperative organisations, leaders, employees and functionaries within the cooperative system to the practical implementation of the priorities of the cooperative policy, set out and implemented by the CCU bodies.

The awarding is made under decisions of the management of the Central Cooperative Union based on conditions, criteria and assessment of the involvement of the cooperative organisations, leaders, employees and functionaries in the implementation of the cooperative policy.

          The awards of the Central Cooperative Union include:

          COOP PLASTIC ART

This plastic art item is laid on a foundation with a sign indicating the jubilee anniversary. This award is granted to cooperative unions, consumer cooperatives, cooperative entities and commercial entities on the occasion of jubilees - 50, 80, 90, 100 anniversaries and each subsequent round jubilee every 10 years. Author of the plastic art is Ivan Kulinski. The materials is bronze, stone. The plastic art is produced in Art Form Studio.

 

                     

 

 

CCU HONORARY SIGN – three levels: first level – gold, second level – silver and third level - bronze. This sign is awarded to leaders, employees and functionaries who have given their contribution to the development of the cooperative movement nationally. As deemed appropriate and decided by the management of the Central Cooperative Union CCU Honorary Sign may be awarded to cooperative functionaries – Bulgarians and foreigners.

        The honorary signs and the sign of merits are manufactured by Bulgarian Mint EOOD according to CCU design and are gold, silver and bronze coated.

         SIGN OF MERITS TO THE COOPERATIVE MOVEMENT

         This sign is awarded to leaders, employees and functionaries with lasting merits in the development of the cooperative movement regionally.

         The awards are accompanied by special certificates signed by the President of the CCU.
